Since when did life become so awfully depressing? 

Like as we grow up the good things seem to dwindle and all that we are left with are headlines of murders and rape, friends dealing with losses of their parents or loved ones or some seeking death as their old friend.

Why is that we yearn to grow up quickly and when once that feat is achieved we sigh about the good old days when we ran about the fields, played tricks on each other and generally had a good time.
Life is so strange,one minute you feel wonderful and rock bottom the very next.
It's sad that life does not come with a time turner because it wouldn't hurt to relive the happy moments.
